About Us

The Hampton Rod & Gun Club, Inc. was founded in the 1940s and is presently located off Atlantic Avenue in North Hampton, New Hampshire.

We own 38 acres with a paved access road, a clubhouse, a pistol/rifle range.

Members provide maintenance and periodic upgrading of the facilities such as improvements to the clubhouse, and maintenance of the range facilities.

The range facilities are available for members from 9am to 7pm or a half hour before sunset, whichever comes first. The pistol/rifle range and the club house are in full time, year around operation.

Trap Shooting

The Club offered trap shooting, but in 2013 trap shooting was voluntarily suspended while the Club works with the NH Department of Environmental Services to address environmental matters. The Club is still a member of a trap league and has won the league title twice since 2020. Members are invited to join the league.

Pistol & Rifle Range

The Club has a pistol and rifle range with an enclosed, heated building, expanded berm and a3-D Archery Range.

Special Events

Events include shooting competitions (e.g. “Turkey Shoots”), quarterly meetings with dinners with presentations showcasing various firearms and archery related programs, NRA instructor led classes, reloading classes, and safety training.
